Dear all

Next Monday, we are meeting at St Mary's Church at 8pm with Steven.  James Drinkwater, the organist for our concert, will be playing the organ.

We are then not meeting for the following two weeks and will then meet on two more Mondays on 28 April and 5 May.

Please note that there are ongoing roadworks on the A38 and Alveston Hill which affects road access into Thornbury.  Full details can be found here:
A38: https://a38andbswactivetravel.commonplace.is/en-GB/proposals/a38/step1

You may be interested to know that Chris Hill is organising a "Little Project" for 3 April 2027.  It will be a large performance of Walton's Belshazzar's Feast in the Bristol Beacon.  I attach more details of the project.

Progress is being made with the Armstrong Hall development.  It has been rebranded The Armstrong.  Current plans are that the Cossham Hall and Foyer will open for the Winter 2025/2026 season. The Armstrong Hall/main hall will follow from mid-2026 but the timing depends on fundraising.  More information is available here: https://www.thearmstrong.co.uk/.

Best wishes,
