Dear all
Next Monday at 8pm in Thornbury URC, we have our second rehearsal for Carols at the Gables. Please bring a copy of the green Carols for Choirs book and the sheet music, which you can find links to here: https://www. thornburychoralsociety.org.uk/ dbpage.php?pg=learning& repgroup=Status. A few copies will be available if you can't use a printer. Our performance is at 2.00pm on Wednesday 17 December. We have been asked to arrive at 1.30pm. Please bring appropriate festive attire and maybe some bells, etc. The address of the Gables is:
Best Western Bristol North
The Gables Hotel
Bristol Rd
Falfield
Wotton-under-Edge
GL12 8DL
They should be able to accommodate all those who want to come. They will be providing tea and coffee afterwards. The Gables pay us some money for our funds and an equivalent amount to our nominated charity which this year is Children's Hospice South West.
We are also invited to sing carols to shoppers in St Mary Centre on Saturday 20 December from 10am. Various singers and instrumentalists are performing during the morning, organised by Kate.
Best wishes,
Mike Elcock
