Dear all

On Monday, we will be at St Mary's Church for our final rehearsal before concert day.  We need a few people to help put the chairs out and move the piano.  If you can help with this, please come at 7.15pm.  Otherwise, please be at the church at 7.45pm for our rehearsal ready to start singing at 8.00pm.  We will not be using the staging for this rehearsal.  Although we do not have an orchestra, because of the size of the choir, there will not be room for everyone on the dais, so we will need to arrange the best place for everyone to see the conductor.  Your co-operation will be appreciated.

On the day of the concert on Saturday 16th May, these are the arrangements:
10.00am Help is required to set up the staging and chairs and move the piano.
2.00pm Rehearsal starts.  Steven will begin with the choir only, and will rehearse the Agnus Dei (with Rebecca) at around 2.30pm.  He anticipates rehearsing with the soloists from 2.50pm, beginning with the Gloria.  We will break at around 3.30pm, and the choir will then be finished.
7.15pm Meet ready for the concert.  Last minute instructions will be given in the afternoon.

Alison has asked me to remind you of the following:
a) please buy tickets!
b) please sign the card for Steven if you have not already done so
c) please help with setting up and clearing away for the concert (see above)
d) the dress code is:
    ladies: black trousers or skirts with black tops that have long or 3/4 length sleeves
    gentlemen: dinner jacket, white shirt and black bow tie
e) please clean and return the hired scores on Monday 18^th or after the concert if not coming to the party.
